I heard this memorable quote yesterday in the movie Cemetery Junction. I liked it, I expected it to be bourgeois and dull but it turned out to be both funny and thought-worthy. The dialogue was witty in a way that rom coms tend to endeavor but seldom are. The movie is definitely worth watching if you're in those kind of movies, I'm not but I still enjoyed it.
Just woke up, or to be honest I set the alarm at 11 A.M. But by the time the alarm started sounding I was already up. I took a shower but then I'd spent all of my energy so I went to bed again and slept untill 10 minutes ago. Sleeping is very underrated, though at moments I wish I was one of those persons who doesn't remember their dreams. Last night I had the worst nightmares I've had in a long long time. The dreams contained some of my greatest fears, such as being caught in a very small space with a certain amount of oxygen and light. To make it worse the box I was locked in to was in a pool, meaning water was flowing in, time was running out and there was nothing I could do. Gotta love my imagination sometimes.

Anyway, now I'm gonna go eat breakfast and then continue my hard work (sleeping) in the couch. See ya!
It's been a good weekend, I've mostly spent it indoors listening to music, reading and of course gaming. There may have been moments where I felt as if I should get my ass of the couch and go do something worthwhile but then again...thoughts and actions have always been far apart when I've been involved x)

Now I have to go get ready, gonna drink tea, catch up and possibly watch "The next three days" starring Russel Crowe with Yrsa aka Sleepyone. Here's a song that somehow speaks to me:
Yesterday I bought all of my christmas presents, I think I broke my personal record. Found gifts for everyone within an hour! I figured I'd bring out my debit card and just buy whatever came in to mind. So I did, I found presents for everyone but instead I will be living on a highly restricted budget for a while x) But after all christmas equals sharing and I couldn't think of a better way to spend my money than spending them on people I care about.

I'm sleepy...tomorrow is the last day before the holidays and it seems as if everyone at school hardly can wait. I'm one of them as well, it's gonna be so great to finally get some serious rest, catch up missed gaming hours and watch movies waiting to be viewed.

Speaking of movies, yesterday I watched Salem's Lot. The second movie made based on a Stephen King novel (after Carrie 1976). This one was made in 1979. The movie was very long, over 3 hours and the first hour and a half was quite hard to follow. Though everything (almost) made sense in the ending. I'm not even sure how the movie ended though since it simply stopped playing in the middle of a scene (think it was in the ending). I wouldn't really recommend the movie but somehow it was very charming. Those old movies do have that feeling of genuine effort that the modern ones lack of.

Watched the old Stephen King movie "Carrie" today again, I hadn't seen it in a really long time so I figured why not?
The first hour or so the movie was quite uneventful, but then in the ending shit really got loose. There was blood everywhere, screaming and just your typical horror movie. Except the effects were insanely bad, almost to the point where the "horror" scenes became funny. The last scene of Carrie did stick out from the rest though, I normally don't get scared but this scene was very unpleasant...the feeling wouldn't go away until I decided to listen to a song I really associate with happiness and well-being:
Anyway in the end the movie wasn't that great, it's a classic though. And you have to forgive the bad quality of the effects...after all the movie is from 1976.
So the whole work thing obviously didn't work out, I can't focus at all right now. Didn't sleep that much yesterday and after a long day I feel like an ice-cream left out in the sun too long: sticky, messy and something people tend to avoid x) Hopefully I'll be in a better shape tomorrow though, if worst comes to worst I guess I'll just stuff my self with caffeine and collapse in the end of the day. I'd rather not though.
Snow, I love it! But not in the mornings...I was late today because it took much longer to ride my bike to school than what it normally does. Not to mention on the way home, I can't remember how many times I nearly hit people/slipped and fell. It was as worst when I was just a few hundred meters from my house, my bike got stuck in a downhill and the bike tipped over standing on the front wheel. I felt as if I was in a Taxi movie ^^

Now while sitting safely indoors, watching the snow falling outside I want to go back out there. But I've got work to do...so I'll just settle with some good music :)

Took a look at the line up for HoM this year, I must say I'm a bit disappointed. Though I'm sure more artists will be added. Last year I'd heard most of the bands playing and I liked them, I was especially looking forward to watching Lamb of God. I did, they were great and my friend caught me a pick from the bassist John Campbell. I appreciated it very much, still do...got it framed in on my desk :) Since some time I've been very fond of Log, it's just like with Rage Against The Machine. The music may not be for everyone but if you don't give it a try you won't know what you're missing.

Ställ skålen med vår smet in I kylen I en halvtimme.
Ta fram en plåt, som du har smörat eller täckt med bakplåtspapper, och sätt ut klickar av din smet. Platta ej dina kakor och gör de inte allt för stora.
Sätt ugnen på 150grader och värm dina kakor I 20 minuter.
Before you bake these I advice you not to bake these, they're rather disgusting. However, they do got that touch of Yrsa which make them fabulous :)

Yesterday I saw a strangelicious movie called Mr.Nobdy. It was quite strange, however I am mighty impressed by the camera work. I recommend it to you strange strangers that enjoy strange movies. :)
After a night of undisturbed sleep I feel great. I usually sleep with earplugs since I wake up very easily but last night I slept for 12 hours without waking. That never happens to me so Im really glad. Though the entire house smells like drunk people and garlic, makes me wonder what the hell happened here yesterday after I fell asleep?

Anyway now I'm going to make myself some tea, perhaps watch a movie or go out for a walk. It's beautiful outside.
Evening, my day has been pretty good. Haven't done too much though, or well I've spent about 1/4 playing cod, 1/2 in school and the remaining 25% at home. I was actually going to work out today at IKSU but after math class just the thought of it seemed exhausting. And yes, I'm in a very good shape... I'm sure, I recently read an (not to reliable) article saying that if one got an increased heart rate 3-4 times a day that person would be exercising more than what's necessary = in good shape.

I get an increased heart rate just by walking up the stairs, does that mean Im in good shape? and all this time I've been thinking Im a lazy *** needing to exercise. Turns out, I don't! Best article ever? I think so ^^ facts never lie...or do they?
Sorry for the lack of activity, I've had other things in mind. I didn't expect the blog to get any readers what so ever, but now that I have some I feel obliged to write. There's just a problem, I don't know what to write about :) Therefore I took a few days off to reload and finish some unfinished projects etc.

Me and Yrsa drank tea at Café station today, we went there to talk, maybe even find some christmas gifts and to simply wind down after a long day. It ended up with me playing CoD and her sleeping, we had fun anyway. Though the people sitting next to us seemed bothered by the endless sound of warfare. I send them my apologies.

I feel this certain calm inside me now, originally I was supposed to study tonight since I had two presentations this week. Though to my surprise both of them were postponed until next week. Hence I've got a few nights of relaxation in front of me, can't imagine a better time for it.
Btw, gotta love the new header and background. We were aiming for something...strange and not very well done. Hence the terminator owl. I think we suceeded x)

Woke up this morning to the (what seems as) never ending Jorn Lande song "Stormcrow". I might inflict that I woke up the exact same way yesterday aswell. Anyway, after 3 songs making sure I couldn't fall back asleep it was time for vacuuming. I don't get it...is there some sort of unwritten rule that parents have to vacuum early in the morning every single weekend? It seems that way, it really does.

Anyhoo, I was still feeling ill so I've been indoors today again. Can't say that I've accomplished anything worth mentioning, perhaps that Im soon done knitting my scarf (and yes...I knit a little bit) (didnt mean for that to rhyme) Or well, I've finished half of it. And before today I've been...sidetracked.

I wake up, see my cat sitting by the door. So I try to call on him and then get up to pet him, while petting I realize that no...this is not my cat. This is a white cardboard box I use to stuff my books in :/

Im running down the stairs, great, soon upstairs, just 2 more steps. I make a big leap while realizing that it is infact 5 steps = me crashing down (minor leg injury)

Im in the supermarket, cant find my parents. See them walking towards the parking lot further ahead of me. So I go there and take a candybar from the grocery bag. While eating my "parents" turn toward me and in a moment of terror I realize that my "parents" are in fact strangers I've never met before! After apologizing a thousand times I see my parents staring at me from the other side of the store

This weekend I will stay indoors, drink lots of tea and watch movies. Because Im sick, just great isnt it?

Yesterday evening Sleepyone and the P-bomb (xD) were here, we watched Hannibal Rising. It was okey, not as good as the first 3 movies. One of my favourite actors is Anthony Hopkins so maybe I'm not the most neutral judge. But anyway, the movie was a bit too long, a bit too slow and a bit too predictable.

It's so unfair, I'm always being careful and dressing after the weather. But yesterday the radiator in my room stopped working. Together with the cold and the fact that I was singing along to the Rolling Stones all night while working, my throat hurts. So today I pay the price, but in the end...it wasn't really my fault. Soon, soon the weekend will be here. I don't know why I've been feeling so fatiqued lately, a good guess would be that the holidays will soon be upon us. I can't wait...it's gonna be great sleeping as long as I wish to, stay up as long as I'd like and do whatever I want (well almost) These might be simple pleasures but in the end aren't those the greatest?

It's been a beautiful day today but I've been indoors stuck in school, usually I wouldn't mind it since I've made the choice myself. But I dreamt last night about a mountain, white snow, forests and...a snowboard. God it was ages since I last went snowboarding, though still in my mind I see it so clear.

Anyhoo, my question is: Why do the days with the best weather occur when you can't go out and appreciate it?
After a night of waffles, Indiana Jones and good friends Im ready to go to bed, unfortunately I have to study economy. Got a test on friday but like...the course isn't that hard. The facts aren't that difficult to learn it's just a lot.
Anyway, no one wants to hear about my homework. Therefore I've decided to give you a heads up of what's happening with the blog. Every week a certain goody will be posted, some of you might already know what I'm talking about. For you who don't...all good things come to those who wait. Hopefully the blog will get a new fresher look soon as well, Im working on it. I didn't expect it to be so hard but I haven't done anything quite similar before so I guess we'll just see where this ends. It can't possibly get any worse than it already is? Hey friendos, Im sitting here with Sleepyone. She's working and I'm...interrupting I guess :)
I don't really have anything interesting to write nor any news to post...hmm difficult. But I felt kind of betrayed this morning, I woke up 50 minutes later than usual and left to school by the time class started. It can't be too hard to figure out that I was pretty late, but just when I was about to enter the classroom I meet Sleepyone who also had overslept. We're like twins...evil twins hehe
Anyway, when we were in class I wondered why we were having fysics, cuz it's thursday? It took me all morning to realize that no, it's actually wednesday. And just like that the weekend was even further away. Damn!
